You have taken the courageous leap towards being substance free. I honor you. But I know the journey has only begun. If you are one of the many people who now face struggles with your health due to persistent withdrawal effects, there’s hope. Fatigue, anxiety, restlessness, pain, lack of motivation, etc. You may be asking yourself, “When will I feel ‘normal’ again?”
My heart goes out to you.
There are underlying biochemical disfunctions that arise from prolonged substance use. Interestingly, there are biochemical disfunctions that also give rise to substance use. You may ask the question, “Did I ever feel ‘normal’?” Together, we’ll explore your unique makeup and bring back order.
As apart of my graduation requirements for the Academy of Addition and Mental Health Nutrition, I’m seeking two people to work with one-on-one to apply what I’ve learned thus far to help bring relief to those suffering with PAWS (Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome), and to facilitate a nutritional approach for relapse prevention. You would receive tailored guidance related to diet and supplementation, specifically to bring harmony back into the nervous system. You’ll help me gain experience in the field, and you’ll hopefully walk away feeling better. (You can liken this to a massage school student offering free or inexpensive sessions)
Transparency is important to me. If I can’t figure out how to help you, I’ll do my best to point you to a better resource. (Please read the disclaimer below)
While I wish I could help as many people as possible, this is a first-come-first-serve offering. Considering the complexity of some struggles, I also can’t promise to continue working on a case forever. Therefore, this offering will include six free sessions (if needed). You won’t be locked into anything, and you can discontinue at any point.
- The intake. I get to know you, and your brain.
- The review. We go over the first steps you can take.
- The follow ups. Where necessary, adjustments are made to your program.
Sessions will last between 30 minutes to an hour, and will ideally take place at least once a week conducted over the phone or zoom call.

Now for all the fun stuff. I’m not many things. I’m not a doctor, therapist, social worker, nutritionist, nurse practitioner, dietitian, nor many titles you find out there. “Okay then, why the heck would I work with you?” Great question. You should (compassionately) scrutinize the people you entrust your physical or mental health with. I’ll let you make the judgement call that best respects your conscience.
Here’s what I am. Collectively, I have worked in the health-food industry for ten years. I’m a student of the Academy of Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition, learning directly under Christina Veselak, a renowned educator in the area of mental health and addiction recovery. She’s worked alongside key players like Julia Ross and Trudy Scott. She’s the host of the celebrated podcast, Power Up Recovery with Nutrition and has delivered advanced continuing education for the American Psychological Association. I’m human. I have wrestled (and still do) with my own health challenges. I’ve experienced addiction within my family, friend circle, and firsthand. I’ll employ the same strategies that helped my own brother recover from severe 7-OH use. You can read about his story, here.
I don’t have all the answers. But, I will do my best to help you overcome the pains of lingering withdrawal and empower you to stay on the path of recovery.
